Welcome to Kerkyra (Corfu)

Corfu or Kerkyra is one of the favorite destinations in Greece. The island of Corfu was one of the first islands in Greece to open itself to tourism and has everything to offer to the visitor.

The identity of the island has been affected by several cultural influences, evidence of which can be seen today, such as the great number of impressive Venetian fortresses, historical Byzantine churches, monasteries and ancient monuments, recalling Corfu's brilliant past.

Traditional Events
Events, having been celebrated for hundreds of years, continue even today, in the same traditional way, like the litanies of St. Spyridon, the patron saint of Corfu, while in the summer time numerous festivals and events take place.
